When I first saw this report making its way around the internet, I was speculative. But I couldn’t resist. Then I realized who wrote it, and my jaw dropped.
For those that don’t know, Seymour Hersh is a thorn in the side of the Pentagon. In 1969 he uncovered the My Lai massacre and also was the first to report on the scandal at Abu Ghraib prison.
So, needless to say, Mr. Hersh probably isn’t a Trump supporter.
What he just wrote could be the undoing of the Biden administration or worse. When someone of his caliber drops a story like this, it’s only a matter of time before the story blows open.
Just ask Nixon and Bush.
Hersh – with great detail – explains how “America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline.”
Yeah.
Hersh wrote:
Biden’s decision to sabotage the pipelines came after more than nine months of highly secret back and forth debate inside Washington’s national security community about how to best achieve that goal. For much of that time, the issue was not whether to do the mission, but how to get it done with no overt clue as to who was responsible.
There was a vital bureaucratic reason for relying on the graduates of the center’s hardcore diving school in Panama City. The divers were Navy only, and not members of America’s Special Forces Command, whose covert operations must be reported to Congress and briefed in advance to the Senate and House leadership—the so-called Gang of Eight. The Biden Administration was doing everything possible to avoid leaks as the planning took place late in 2021 and into the first months of 2022.
With great detail that would be hard to fabricate Hersch lays out the planning and execution of this clandestine operation that could lead us into a hot war with Russia.
According to the report, there was a lot of pushback:
Throughout “all of this scheming,” the source said, “some working guys in the CIA and the State Department were saying, ‘Don’t do this. It’s stupid and will be a political nightmare if it comes out.’”
A political nightmare is an understatement.
Hersh details how the operation was carried out with the help of one of our NATO allies and the remarkable technology used to carry it out.

The mainstream media may try, but you can’t pass Hersh as a right-wing nut. The man has exposed two of some of the biggest scandals to come out of the Pentagon.
There is another side to this piece – if it’s true – is big.
Maybe not as big as possibly sucking the USA into a hot war but it’s still big.
Papers of records like the Washington Post and New York Times are dead.
Normally, a journalist of Hersh caliper would publish this piece with the NYT’s or the Washington Post. But he didn’t…He dropped the report on Substack.
Freelance journalism is back, and it’s being done independently on new platforms. Meaning the powers that be that would normally control information can’t control it…for now.
The White House and CIA have responded to the report and called it fiction.
UPDATE – White House/CIA say the report regarding the Nord Stream pipeline explosion “is utterly false and complete fiction.”
