Discovery At Border Sends Up A Scary Red Flag

Recenlty US Border patrol authroities discovered backpacks full of ammunition and homemade explosive near the Rio Grande Valley area, where authorities have said cartels mataintain control.

“An example of the tactics & weapons that criminals employ against our Agents,” Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez said in an X post.

Chavez is in charge of all enforcement operations along the 264 miles that covers West Texas through southern New Mexico.

According to Chavez McAllen PD assisted in detonating some of the contents found inside the backpack.

A report from News Nation stating that a similiar situtation took place in Arizona at a port of entry in Douglas.

“A complete search of the vehicle was conducted after the (Arizona Department of Public Safety) had removed the destructive device with no additional items located,” authorities reportedly said.

During testimony before congress US Border Patrol chief Raul Ortiz testified that in some areas of the border they have lost operational control.

“We have had ground-breaking testimony by Chief Ortiz. He said we do not have operational control of the Southwest border,” U.S. Rep. August Pfluger, a Republican from San Angelo, Texas, said, according to Border Report. “And how sad it is our colleagues from the other side of the aisle are not here in McAllen, in the Rio Grande Valley, to hear this?”

Amid all this a federal judge has ordered that Texas take down their floating wall.
