Former Fox News Host Gets Into Scuffle At Restaurant

Fox News recently settled its $1.6 billion defamation case with Dominion Voting Systems for a staggering $787.5 million – and just days later, the network has parted ways with former Fox host Dan Bongino. This sparks many questions about the timing of the breakup and the true reasons behind it.

Dan Bongino’s final episode of his primetime show, ‘Unfiltered with Dan Bongino’, garnered extensive viewership and was Fox News’s highest-rated program of the day. His podcast ‘The Dan Bongino Show’ has long been popular, with one million downloads and streams per day. It appeared that Bongino’s future with Fox News was going to be a long and successful one. However, after months of failed negotiations, Bongino ultimately decided to part ways, citing the lack of a new contract.

Adding to this intrigue is the recent incident at an Italian restaurant in Palm Beach, Florida. Bongino claims his wife was forcibly removed UFC-style from the establishment, having supposedly waited in the wrong line to use the restroom. Of course, the full details are unclear.

It was Politico’s reporter Daniel Lippman that posted a picture of the scuffle.

“That’s an absolutely FASCINATING take on what really happened. Does Politico support physical violence against women? You’ll have to tune in to my podcast on Monday for the real story,” Bongino said.

The Daily Mail reported that Bongino said he got involved when he noticed that a woman being bear-hugged and carried out was his wife.

From the Dailymail:

Bongino said that he had picked up the group’s tab and left his server a cash tip when he suddenly saw a ruckus erupt out of the corner of his eye. He said a man was ‘bear hugging’ a woman and carrying her out.

He later realized it was his own wife, after seeing her bracelet.

Bongino said that he thought they were going to slam Paula to the ground outside as he shouted: ‘Get your f***ing hands off my wife.’

The political commentator told his show: ‘I wasn’t thrown out of anywhere. I want to be clear about that.’

Bongino said that the group of couples had been having a great night out – and even broadcasted a clip he took minutes before the outburst, showing himself and his wife smiling and bopping their heads to the lively music inside the restaurant.

While it’s unclear what led to Paula’s removal, Bongino claimed his wife was queuing in the wrong line for the restroom.

There is no report that police were called and they were not involved in the incident.
