John Kerry recently had to testify before Congress and he got really snippy when a Republican Congressman fact-checked him.
There are two things elitists hate: 1. Being fact-checked in public 2. Being laughter at.
Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) was asking Biden’s Climate Czar about Chinese solar panels and added, “I hope it wasn’t too problematic for your operational team and your private jet to get here.”
Apparently, Kerry took that one personally.
“I just don’t agree with your facts, which began with the presentation of one of the most outrageously persistent lies that I hear, which is this private jet,” Kerry shot back. “We don’t own a private jet. I don’t own a private jet. I personally have never owned a private jet. And obviously it’s pretty stupid to talk about coming in a private jet from the State Department up here. Honestly, if that’s where you want to go, go there.”

The follow-up questioning by Rep. Michael Waltz didn’t go well either because Kerry got fact-checked.
“You testified under oath that you never owned a private jet…”
Kerry interrupted the Congressman stating his wife owns the plane.
“My wife owned a plane. I do not fly on a private jet. I fly commercially…”
then Waltz interrupted asking, “Have you flown a private jet in a personal or official capacity since you’ve taken this position?”
“Possibly once,” responded Kerry.
