In the early days of the Biden administration, the President decided to remove the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen from the Foreign Terrorist Organization.
NBC reported the news on February 5, 2021.
From NBC News:
President Joe Biden’s administration will remove the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen from the Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist lists, the State Department confirmed Friday.
The last-minute decision by former President Donald Trump’s administration to designate the group that controls 80 percent of Yemen’s territory was widely condemned by international organizations for cutting off the delivery of critical food and aid to a country on the brink of famine.
Well, that decision has now backfired as the Houthi rebels are attacking shipping lanes in the Red Sea.
Following a series of attacks, President Biden authorized strikes against the Houthis “in direct response to unprecedented Houthi attacks against international maritime vessels in the Red Sea—including the use of anti-ship ballistic missiles for the first time in history.”
Now, all of a sudden, the White is considering making a change.
Top Biden spokesman John Kirby says the Biden administration is considering re-designating the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization.

Folks the left is spitting nails mad after Biden launched the airstrikes.
.@POTUS can’t launch airstrikes in Yemen without congressional approval.
This is illegal and violates Article I of the Constitution.
The people do not want more of our taxpayer dollars going to endless war and the killing of civilians. Stop the bombing and do better by us. https://t.co/PFYYoknib6

If you had told me on Jan 20, 2021 that Biden would be ordering military strikes on the Houthis without Congressional approval while the Saudis would be calling for restraint and de-escalation in Yemen, I would never have believed it. https://t.co/M2qF5GYcfg

One of the most frequently misrepresented federal statutes—often falsely used to justify unconstitutional presidential war powers—is the War Powers Resolution (or Act) (50 U.S.C. §§ 1541-1550).
If only more people would read it.
Contrary to what you may have heard about the War…

Biden claims he cares about civilians while expediting the 2,000 lb bombs that murder them.
He claims he doesn’t want a war while illegally bombing Yemen
A liar and a criminal.
