Trump Was Right, Biden’s 180 Proves It & The Left Is Spitting Nails

The left is mad folks because it is almost an admittance that Trump was right.

On October 5, 2023, CNN (I can almost hear the paper shuffling and Rush Limbaugh’s voice saying he has a report in his formerly nicotine-stained hands) is reporting that Biden is not only building Trump’s border wall he is devastating the climate as well.

From CNN:

The Biden administration will waive 26 laws to build additional border barriers in the Rio Grande Valley, according to a notice posted to the Federal Register Wednesday, citing “high illegal entry.”

Construction of the wall will be paid for using already appropriated funds earmarked specifically for physical border barriers, and the administration was under a deadline to use them. But the move comes at a time when a new surge of migrants is straining federal and local resources and placing heavy political pressure on the Biden administration to address a sprawling crisis.

The funds the Biden administration is using were appropriated by the former Trump administration in 2019 (CNN left that part out).

Why? Democrat-run cities are fed up.

The administration that pledged “not one foot more” is waiving laws to get the wall built.

More from CNN:

President Joe Biden – who, as a candidate, vowed that there will “not be another foot” of border wall constructed on his watch – has been plagued by issues on the border since his first months in office, when the US faced a surge of unaccompanied migrant children that caught officials flatfooted.

The left is spitting mad, too. Beto O’Rourke hammered the administration’s decision along with other environmental groups.

The waivers bypassed by the Biden administration include the Clean Air Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and the Endangered Species Act. In a report from the AP, they said, “the waivers avoid time-consuming reviews and lawsuits challenging violation of environmental laws.”

Environmental advocates are fit to be tied.

“A plan to build a wall through will bulldoze an impermeable barrier straight through the heart of that habitat. It will stop wildlife migrations dead in their tracks. It will destroy a huge amount of wildlife refuge land. And it’s a horrific step backwards for the borderlands,” Laiken Jordahl, a southwest conservation advocate for the Center for Biological Diversity, said in response to the announcement.

This is a stark 180-degree move. It will be interesting to see if any environmental groups still try to sue or if they will stay in line.
