U-haul Driver Who Slammed Into The White House Case Has A New Twist

A young migrant from Chesterfield, Missouri, allegedly attempted to ram through a White House barrier with a U-Haul truck.

According to the witness, the truck was driven into the barrier twice before it stopped. When police arrived at the north side of Lafayette Park at 16th and H St, NW, where the incident took place they found an apparent Nazi flag and laid it on the street.

After the media arrived and took pictures, the flag was folded up and taken away.

Fox 5, a local news affiliate reported that the 19-year-old driver’s name was Sai Kandula.

From Fox 5:

Court documents just released, a U.S. Secret Service investigator says 19-year-old Sai Kandula stated his goal was to “get to the White House, seize power, and be put in charge of the nation.”

Kandula was charged with “multiple charges including assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, the threat to kill, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm on a President, Vice President, or family, destruction of federal property, and trespassing.”

On May 26, 2023, all of the serious charges against Sai Kandula were dropped.

The New York Post reported that “a single count of depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000” was the only charge left.

In evidence collected a “book” was found that allegedly contained the writings of Kandula praising fascists Germany during World War II.

No weapons or explosives were found at the scene. According to the officer who first approached the truck, Kandual exited the vehicle as smoke was rising from its hood walking to the back. When he opened the back door he pulled out a backpack and the “Nazi Swastika” flag.

The court documents report that the officer then ordered the suspect to the ground.

This whole case is just bizarre.
