In 2022 the Democrats went on a full-out assault on the 2nd Amendment. However, the constitution limits them, so they went out and got Visa to do their bidding.
The nation’s largest payment processor has announced that they will create a registry of gun store purchases.
“The (industry’s) decision to create a firearm specific code is nothing more than a capitulation to anti-gun politicians and activists bent on eroding the rights of law-abiding Americans one transaction at a time,” said National Rifle Association spokesman Lars Dalseide.
The announcement took place after Senator Elizabeth Warren said that banks need to do more to stop mass shootings.

Just like during COVID, Democrats are getting cooperations to do their bidding so they can get around the constitution.
This is just one step closer to a digital currency followed by a Chinese-style social credit system.

In October 2022, New York’s latest attempt at gun-control was overturned.

In a 53-page order, U.S. District Court Judge Glenn Suddaby paused a requirement that concealed carry applicants prove “good moral character” and submit years of social media for review. He also blocked implementation of some gun-free zones — including city subways and Times Square — established under the new measures.
The court as ruled that the law is “too subjective.”
The Supreme Court said a prior licensing regime, which required applicants prove a need for self-protection, was too subjective. Suddaby said in an order that the new “good moral character” requirement passed in response was no better. It merely replaced one subjective requirement with another by “retaining (and even expanding) the open-ended discretion afforded to its licensing officers,” he wrote.
Since the left can’t win constitutionally, they are getting corporations to do it for them.
