WH Fumes After Their Threat Aimed At Musk Blows Up In Their Face. They Didn’t Think Elon Would Do It

It’s become public knowledge through leaks, lawsuits, and Freedom of Information requests that the Biden administration colluded with social media companies to silence those who disagreed with their narrative.

Never in a million years did Twitter executives and government officials ever think that a free speech advocate like Elon Musk would purchase the company.

During a press briefing on November 28, 2022, a liberal reporter asked the White House what they would do about Musk now that he’s taken over Twitter.

Press Secretary KJP issued a veiled threat:

“So, look, this is something that we’re certainly keeping an eye on.  And, look, we — you know, we have always been very clear and — that when it comes to social media platforms, it is their responsibility to make sure that when it comes to misinformation, when we — when it comes to the hate that we’re seeing, that they take action, that they continue to take action,” KJP said.

“Again, we’re all keeping a close eye on this.  We’re all monitoring what’s — what’s currently occurring.  And we see — you know, we see it with our own eyes of what you all are reporting and, just for ourselves, what’s happening on Twitter.”

“But again, social media companies have a responsibility to prevent their platforms from being used by any user to incite violence, especially violence directed at individual communities, as we have been seeing.  And the President has been very clear on calling that out.  He’ll continue to do that.  And we’re going to continue to monitor the situation,” the Press Secretary added.

The comments at the White House followed Musk’s announcement that he would give general amnesty to banned accounts, allowing them a second chance.

Apparently, Musk wasn’t happy with the White House’s veiled threat, so he decided to hand them another blow.

Less than 12 hours after the White House’s comment, Musk announced that he terminated the company’s COVID-19 misinformation policy.

Musk had initially kept the news quiet however after the veiled threat from the White House decided to hit back.

Oh, and there’s more…

Musk has promised to release communications regarding censorship regarding COVID and the Hunter Biden story. Musk said that the communications must be released “to restore public trust.”
