Behar Comments On Clooney Op-Ed

We have some intriguing celebrity news to bring to your attention.

As many of you know actor and Obama buddy George Clooney recently threw Biden under the bus after writing an op-ed in the NYT’s.

This public letter, in essence, calls for President Joe Biden to step aside as the nominee for his party in the upcoming November elections.

Joy Behar, a co-host of “The View,” wasn’t too pleased with this revelation. In her words, “George Clooney couldn’t he tell him that in person for God’s sake?! He has to write an op-ed piece?” She questions whether such a significant suggestion could have been communicated more personally.

Behar’s criticisms didn’t end there. She continued by highlighting the World Bank report from last month, stating that the U.S. economy under Biden is currently propelling the entire global economy. She questioned why Clooney failed to mention this in his op-ed piece.

On the other hand, not all co-hosts on “The View” shared Behar’s viewpoint. Alyssa Farah Griffin provided a counter-argument, stating, “I respectfully disagree. Joe Biden’s feelings don’t matter more than the country. This is not the media. This is not a narrative. This is Democrats, lifelong, who want to defeat Donald Trump and know how to win races saying that Joe Biden cannot win as things are going.”

Along similar lines, Sunny Hostin voiced her thoughts. She said, “I don’t like that George Clooney did this. I don’t like that George Clooney aired this dirty laundry to the world.” She believes these types of discussions should occur privately, particularly regarding the Commander in Chief, who deserves respect.

Perhaps the most damning revelation about Clooney’s comments is that the fundraiser being referenced was when the media got with the White House and called clips of Biden being ushered off “cheap fakes.”
