The Biden-Harris administration’s record has drawn criticism from various corners, and one notable voice joining the chorus is former first lady Melania Trump. In a rare television interview with Ainsley Earhardt on *Fox & Friends*, Melania did not shy away from comparing the current administration’s performance to her husband’s tenure, offering a stark contrast in terms of leadership, economic stability, and national security.
MELANIA: "All he wants to do, as he says, is Make America Great Again. He wants to make this country prosperous and safe for everybody. He wants to make the American dream possible again."

Melania was asked about the possibility of Vice President Kamala Harris stepping in as the Democratic Party’s nominee, and her response was unflinching: “The country is suffering.” She pointed to the struggles many Americans face in buying basic necessities, the ongoing wars around the world, and the tragic loss of soldiers under what she called “weak leadership.” She also highlighted the dangerous situation at the southern border, citing the influx of fentanyl, which has been devastating to communities across the country. “It’s very hard to see,” she said, reflecting the concerns of millions of Americans feeling the weight of these issues.
The former First Lady was passionately authentic and I don’t remember ever hearing her talk like this:
"Maybe some, you know, strong tweets, but everything else – great for this country."

Perhaps most poignant in Melania’s remarks was her take on the economy. She directly contrasted the Biden administration’s inflation-plagued economy with the prosperity she says defined her husband’s time in office. “[The economy], it’s really not great. Inflation is high,” she noted, before emphasizing the gains during the Trump presidency: “People were prospering. They had jobs. They could support their families.” Her words painted a picture of a nation that, under her husband’s leadership, thrived through “peace through strength”—a mantra that marked much of Trump’s foreign policy and border security efforts. In her view, the contrast could not be clearer.

Reflecting on the future, Melania placed the decision squarely in the hands of the American people as the next election approaches. “Maybe some strong tweets,” she mused about her husband’s style, “but everything else great for this country.”
In a gripping part of the interview, Melania shared personal moments of fear and uncertainty surrounding two attempts on Donald Trump’s life. In July, during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire, injuring the former president and leaving rally-goers shocked and injured. She recalled running to the TV to replay the event, watching in disbelief as her husband was struck, and seeing the chaos unfold live.
MELANIA ON DONALD TRUMP: “He loves his family, he loves this country, and all he wants is to build better and prosperous… you could see the way he was when he was shot in the ear, the way he stood up and said 'FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!'”

She also recounted another life-threatening incident just two months later at Trump International Golf Course, where suspected gunman Ryan Routh’s weapon was spotted before tragedy could strike. Melania credited the Secret Service for their “fantastic” work, noting that both incidents were nothing short of miracles. “If you really think about it, July 13th was a miracle,” she reflected.
Now let’s compare Melania to this flaming hot mess:
Try to watch this and not get a headache. I have no idea what the heck this is supposed to mean.
