Remember when the left thought themselves as hip and super cool?
Well, now they’ve turned into whiny trust fund crybabies that will use lawfare to destroy you.
During a recent two hour discussion between former President Trump and Elon Musk a bunch of different issues were discussed. Trump made a remark about terminating employees who participate in strikes. It’s important to mention that discharging staff for partaking in strikes is actually illegal, but a mere comment about such an action isn’t. This led to the United Auto Workers, or UAW, filing federal charges.
The UAW alleges that Trump and Musk attempted to “threaten and intimidate workers who stand up for themselves by engaging in protected concerted activity, such as strikes.” This conversation, which garnered the attention of over a million users, occurred on X Spaces, a platform endorsed by Musk and recently graced by Trump as a guest.
The context is Trump lauded Musk as the “greatest cutter,” referring to the substantial layoffs Musk initiated when he assumed control of X, formerly known as Twitter. This may have been the root of the comment about dismissing workers. Interestingly, the UAW chose to announce their action on X, Musk’s platform.
Many have reported that no laws were broken by a casual comment in an interview. The UAW might want to consider some restraint in this matter but we’ve watched crybaby libs launches multiple law fare efforts against their opponents.
Assuming our current climate, these charges should be dismissed on First Amendment grounds the first time they are brought before a court. In response, Elon Musk brought up past corrupt practices of the previous two UAW presidents, invoking the familiar saying: people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
The left is really turning into a bunch of whiny trust fund babies.
