Action Movie Scares Joe So He Uses An Executive Order To Grab Power

We’ve all watched Biden and know that he’s no spring chicken. Just watch a couple of clips of him giving a prepared speech on October 31, 2023.

Around the same time, Biden passed a very “ambitious” Executive Order involving AI. Some say it doesn’t go far enough; others say it’s a power grab.

But buried in an Associated Press Report was a little tidbit that supposedly forced the President to take action. White House Chief of Staff Bruce Reed may have used an action movie to influence the President.

From the AP:

The issue of AI was seemingly inescapable for Biden. At Camp David one weekend, he relaxed by watching the Tom Cruise film “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.” The film’s villain is a sentient and rogue AI known as “the Entity” that sinks a submarine and kills its crew in the movie’s opening minutes.

“If he hadn’t already been concerned about what could go wrong with AI before that movie, he saw plenty more to worry about,” said Reed, who watched the film with the president.

Note the part stating Reed “watched the film with the president.”

Who relaxes by watching a movie with your Chief of Staff?

They basically sat poor, frail Biden down to watch a movie and scared the heck out of him.

By the way, the movie is about world governments trying to get their hands on AI so they can control the world. It was not about the dangers of AI, it was about the dangers of a government using AI to control the world.

So what did Biden do?

Create an Executive Order requiring companies to report directly to the government.

In fairness, there were also reports that Biden was taken back by the AI-generated photos and the now famous deep fake video of him ordering a draft.

However, there was no mention of deep fake video regulation in the order. It was all about the government getting their fingers in the technology.

Should there be some regulations on AI? Yes, especially deep fake videos, they could have disastrous repercussions. There should at least be a disclaimer.

It would appear what took place was Joe’s staff (who really run things) used a movie and social media posts to get the policy started so they could control AI. Just like they controlled social media platforms during the pandemic.

One last thing, notice that the companies are not fighting the power grab they are getting on board with it.
