Jimmy McCain Comments On Trump Ceremony

You’ll never guess who the Democrats and Kamala Harris have trotted out to try and attack former President Donald Trump as their Arlington Cemetary hoax continues to go up in smoke.

They are dragging out the McCain’s.

Hoo boy, this is about as desperate as it gets.

Jimmy McCain, the youngest son of the late Senator John McCain, made headlines this week after publicly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for president. In a pointed rebuke of former President Donald Trump, McCain, an army intelligence officer in the 158th Infantry Regiment, criticized Trump’s recent actions at Arlington National Cemetery, which he described as a “backdrop for a political campaign.” His decision to register as a Democrat and vote for Harris is both a personal and political statement, showcasing RINOs in action.

In a CNN interview, McCain shared that witnessing last week’s events at Arlington Cemetery prompted him to switch parties. As a member of a family with deep ties to the military, McCain called Arlington “sacred” and said that using it for political purposes was a “violation” of the respect owed to the men and women buried there. “Arlington Cemetery is to go and show respect for the men and women who have given their lives to this country,” he said. “When you make it political, you take away the respect of the people who are there.”

McCain’s endorsement of Harris is also a response to Trump’s past remarks about his father. The younger McCain referenced Trump’s infamous comments, where Trump mocked John McCain’s time as a prisoner of war, saying, “He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

However, Jimmy McCain’s endorsement did not come without backlash from Trump supporters. Several prominent conservative journalists, including Jack Posobiec and Collin Rugg, seized on a 1999 campaign ad from John McCain’s presidential run, which briefly featured a shot of the senator at Arlington. They accused McCain of hypocrisy, pointing to this ad as evidence that his father had also used Arlington for political purposes. The video quickly gained traction, with over 600,000 views on social media by Tuesday morning. Critics like Charlie Kirk and Gunther Eagleman were even more scathing, dismissing Jimmy McCain’s opinion and going as far as to insult the entire McCain family.

The media and the left just can’t seem to let the Arlington Cemetary hoax go. Mainly because it is so damaging to Biden and Harris.

Last week, during a memorial service in Section 60—where veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are buried—Trump’s campaign reportedly clashed with Arlington staff over attempts to take photographs and video footage. The incident escalated when Trump’s campaign accused the staff member of having a “mental health episode,” trying to block the former president’s photographer from taking part.

Trotting out Jimmy McCain isn’t going to move the needle and it’s incredibly desperate.
