Video Of Kamala Dancing Shouting ‘Down, Down With Deportation!’ – WATCH

Vice President Kamala Harris has made headlines once again, this time for her recent promise to secure the U.S. southern border. However, her current stance on immigration enforcement stands in stark contrast to her previous positions, particularly when she served as a senator from California. In a resurfaced video from 2018, Harris can be seen enthusiastically participating in a Los Angeles parade, chanting slogans opposing deportation. This shift in rhetoric has raised eyebrows and reignited debates surrounding her consistency on immigration policy.

In the 2018 video, which was first obtained by “The Daily Mail,” Harris joins a crowd of protesters, chanting, “Down, down with deportation!” The scene took place at the 33rd annual Los Angeles parade, an event traditionally meant to honor the legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. However, in recent years, left-leaning political movements have used the event as a platform to promote their causes. In 2018, immigration enforcement and the ‘Times Up!’ movement, which advocates against sexual harassment and discrimination, were key themes. Harris, as the grand marshal, found herself amid chants advocating for leniency toward illegal immigrants, enthusiastically joining in while smiling and clapping.

Harris was not alone in her activism at the parade. She was accompanied by her husband, Doug Emhoff, and his daughter, Ella Emhoff, who captured the moment on her phone. Alongside them was actor Jussie Smollett, who was then a rising star on the television show *Empire*. Smollett, wearing a “Times Up” t-shirt, participated in the parade alongside Harris, further embedding himself in progressive causes. Notably, this moment occurred before his infamous legal troubles in 2019.

The video, which resurfaced recently, serves as a reminder of Harris’s past opposition to strict immigration enforcement, a position that appears inconsistent with her current promise to secure the border.

Meanwhile, Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz also faced his own moment of controversy over the weekend. Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, Walz accidentally handed his opponents ammunition when he declared, “we can’t afford four more years of this,” while attempting to criticize former President Trump. The gaffe triggered waves of social media mockery, with critics pointing out that he inadvertently gave credence to the opposition.
