Florida Law Enforcement Issues Stark Warning to Potential Rioters
In what might be the most direct language I’ve heard from law enforcement in years, Florida officials aren’t mincing words about how they’ll handle violent protesters during upcoming anti-Trump demonstrations. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey, flanked by Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, delivered a message that should make even the most radical leftist agitators think twice before bringing their chaos to the Sunshine State. The warning comes as the so-called “No Kings” protests, scheduled for Trump’s 79th birthday on June 12, 2025, threaten to disrupt communities across America with what we all know will likely be more of the same lawlessness we’ve seen from the left.
Sheriff Ivey’s message couldn’t be clearer for those planning violence: “Throw a brick, firebomb or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at, Because we will kill you graveyard dead. We’re not going to play.” This refreshingly honest approach stands in stark contrast to the kid-glove treatment violent protesters have received in blue states and cities across America, where Democratic leaders have frequently allowed their cities to burn while restraining police from taking necessary action to protect citizens and property.
People like this have no business in law enforcement. This should NOT BE THE NORM!

Nationwide Protests Target Trump Administration
The nationwide protests, organized by the radical 50501 Movement, are supposedly focused on immigration rights and opposing what they characterize as “power grabs” by President Trump. We’ve seen this playbook before – the left’s inability to accept election results being channeled into street violence under the thin veneer of “peaceful protest.” With demonstrations planned in approximately 2,000 locations nationwide, law enforcement agencies across the country are bracing for potential unrest, especially after seeing the violence that has already erupted at previous anti-Trump demonstrations.
“Florida will never be California,” declared Attorney General Uthmeier. “Rioting is illegal in our state and our law enforcement are on full alert this weekend. If anyone participates in violent rioting, threatens or injures law enforcement, damages businesses or property or obstructs traffic, we will ensure you will see the back of a jail cell and prosecute you to the fullest. Florida stands by President Trump, ICE and the rule of law.”
While the mainstream media predictably portrays these demonstrations as “mostly peaceful,” we’ve already seen the far-right Proud Boys showing up at a protest in Atlanta, undoubtedly to protect property and counter leftist agitators. In Los Angeles, previous violence was so severe that both the National Guard and Marines had to be called in. And in true leftist fashion, protesters in LA will be featuring a 20-foot balloon of President Trump in a diaper – because nothing says “serious political discourse” like infantile mockery of the Commander in Chief.
Safety Concerns Mount as Protests Spread
The threat of violence is so real that protests in Minnesota were completely canceled due to safety concerns following shootings targeting lawmakers. Florida officials are expecting at least two protests in Brevard County alone and have made it abundantly clear they’re prepared to enforce laws against rioting and violence. Attorney General Uthmeier even advised Floridians on what to do if caught in a violent demonstration: “If you’re a family out there, you’re driving and all of a sudden you get surrounded by one of these angry demonstrations that’s turned violent, You don’t need to sit there and wait while people smash your window and damage your vehicle and put your family in jeopardy. Just drive, get yourself out of harm’s way.”
“This country is in crisis; we’re upside down. We are slipping really fast into a fascist dictatorship,” claimed protester Brent Blair.
The irony here is thick enough to cut with a knife. These protesters claim to be fighting “fascism” while actively trying to overthrow the results of a democratic election through intimidation and violence. They scream about “democracy” while refusing to accept that their candidate lost. They demand “human rights” while denying basic safety and security to fellow Americans. One man in La Quinta has already been arrested for threatening violence at a protest, proving once again that the left’s commitment to “peace” is only skin deep.
Florida Sets the Standard for Law and Order
While blue states continue to coddle criminals and enable chaos, Florida is showing what real leadership looks like in a constitutional republic. By taking a firm stand against lawlessness and making it crystal clear that violent actions will have immediate and severe consequences, Florida officials are doing exactly what government is supposed to do: protect the rights and safety of law-abiding citizens. The contrast couldn’t be more stark between states like Florida that uphold the rule of law and failing progressive states that have surrendered their streets to mob rule.
“We don’t need no kings in America. We have a democracy,” said protester Sherri King, apparently unaware of the irony that democracy is precisely what gave us President Trump – through a free and fair election.
As June 12 approaches, Americans who value peace, security, and the rule of law can only hope that other states will follow Florida’s example in dealing with violent agitators. The right to peaceful protest is sacred in America, but the moment that “protest” turns to violence and destruction, it becomes criminal activity that deserves swift and decisive response. Thankfully, in Florida at least, that’s exactly what these leftist rioters will get if they step out of line.
