Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is once again cooking up unhinged conspiracy theories, this time about President Trump and Rep. Adam Schiff’s censure. She did an interview with former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who is now a paid flack for MSNBC.
At one point in the interview Pelosi talks about having “ethical rules” for Supreme Court justices and attacks Justice Clarence Thomas.
“I had one justice tell me he thought the other justices were people of integrity, like a Clarence Thomas. I’m like, ‘Get out of here.’”
In the interview, Pelosi claimed that Trump was “behind” Schiff’s censure, and that he was “trying to intimidate” the House Intelligence Committee chairman.
Pelosi said the measure passed because “the word is Donald Trump forces weighed in and now the vote changed. Because they’re protecting the unpatriotic, unscrupulous behavior of Donald Trump.”
Why would she do this? It’s because she wants Schiff to take over the seat of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). she went further, “Let me say this, one thing I am is strategic, and when I’m strategic, you have to know what you’re talking about,” she argued. She just proved that she didn’t know what she was talking about. She then finished, saying Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) would be Speaker in 2025.
This is nothing more than a baseless conspiracy theory. There is no evidence that Trump had anything to do with Schiff’s censure. In fact, Schiff himself has said that he does not believe Trump was involved.
Pelosi’s claims are simply an attempt to deflect attention from the fact that Schiff was censured for his own misconduct. Schiff lied to the American people about the Trump-Russia investigation, and he abused his power as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
