Biden Speaks At Fundraiser In Virginia Following Debate

In a recent revelation, President Joe Biden provided some insight a campaign fundraiser in McLean, Virginia. In an attempt to calm donors following the debate Biden created a new excuse.

Biden confessed that while he was standing on the debate stage, he almost fell asleep.

“I decided to travel around the world a couple of times … shortly before the debate,” Biden said at a campaign fundraiser in McLean, Virginia.

“I didn’t listen to my staff … and then I almost fell asleep onstage,” he added. “It’s not an excuse but an explanation.”

If Biden was hoping to calm donors that did not do the trick. Even though Biden did travel to Europe before the debate he took at least six days off before the debate. Business Insider also reported that during his prep days at Camp David leading up to the debate, Biden started at 11am and had a scheduled afternoon nap time.

From Business Insider:

President Biden, debate prep was not a strict 9-to-5 job. In the six days leading up to Thursday’s damaging performance, Biden never began his preparations before 11 a.m. and always had time for an afternoon nap, sources told the New York Times.

The report is based on interviews with current and former aides, donors, political advisors, and administrators who spent time with the president over the past few weeks. Though the White House insists that Biden is in good physical and cognitive shape, many of the sources noted that he has seemed increasingly confused in recent months.

On top of that, watch what Biden did below…

Biden spokesman Adrienne Elrod has continued to push the narrative that Biden was “exhausted” at the debate after traveling to Europe despite his nap time.

It’s better than the whole cold theory but really!? It’s not helping.

The President should be able to handle flying to Europe, taking a week off with scheduled nap times, and then doing a debate.
