Take note of the timing of what’s going on:
- The White House states that videos of Biden are “cheap fakes.”
- The media jumps in.
- We get reports about how nervous Dems are about Biden.
- Biden brings in screenwriters.
- Top former Obama surrogate makes a strong declaration.
- CBS News shows their cards.
Yes, I’m aware my tinfoil that may be on a little tight but at this point nothing surprises me.
Recenlty, political commentator, Van Jones, delivered a profound prediction about the future of President Joe Biden. The critical pivot point? The impending debate against former President Donald Trump – the first of the 2024 election cycle. Jones emphasizes that the outcome of this debate won’t merely influence the polls. It could actually dictate the entire election.
In a discussion with host, Jim Acosta, Jones underscored that the international community would be monitoring closely, and the pressure on Biden is enormous. If Biden wavers, if he fumbles in his arguments or loses his cool, it’s game over. Not just figuratively speaking, but potentially for his political career.
Jones elaborated on his warning. If Biden leaves the debate stage and finds his ratings plummeting a week later, it won’t just be a personal defeat. It would ignite a frenzy of alarm within the ranks of the party.
As the debate date nears, with it scheduled for next Thursday evening, the tension is palpable. Current polls reveal a tight race between Biden and Trump.
Jones, who once served as an advisor to former President Barack Obama on environmental issues, also shared his insights on the flip side – what transpires if Biden triumphs in the debate.
Expressing his thoughts, Jones said, “If he goes in there and he can handle himself against Donald Trump, a runaway train, a locomotive, a raging bull, then this guy deserves another shot to be president, because that is tough.”
“You couldn’t do it. I couldn’t do it,” he added. “If you can stand toe-to-toe with a runaway train like Donald Trump for an hour-and-a-half, you are fit to be president, period, point blank.”
Did you hear the setup there?
Note he didn’t say win; he said:” handle himself.”
In other words, Biden doesn’t need to be Shakespeare he just needs to speak in complete sentences 45% of the time and the media will claim “victory.”
CBS News even tipped their hat a bit in a report stating that they were “told that we should expect some surprises. …This is such a critical performance for President Biden, not only on the content, but on his physical performance.”
Drugs are a powerful thing (joke).

But take heart because there is still one thing the media is not taking into account. Biden has no record to run on. So what if he talks in complete sentences. The economy is a mess, the border crisis is spinning out of control. It will be peak gaslight from the media and like Van Jones said, the real tell will be data collected after the debate not the immediate reaction.
In the meantime though, it sure feels like the media is getting ready for a little gaslighting op which will probably further wreck their credibility.
